He Rā Tino Mīharo! Rāapa 4th July

On Rāapa 4th July, we had a super fun day. We had manuhiri visit us from Te Waka Unua kura. We also ate lots of delicious kai, and had a fun afternoon reward for the whole school. 
Here are some things we liked best about the day.

Yesterday my whole entire class we got to meet a school. Their school was called Te Waka Unua. It was a long day for me and my class. I got to have a fun day as well. It was a fun day for my class.

Inanahi Te Waka Unua school showed us some cool songs and a haka and so did Hornby Primary! I thought that was cool. We also had a lunch club shout! Haha, it was scrumptious. Nā Mikaere




Inanahi te kurā katōa had rā rekareka. I takaro ahau, māua ko AJ i te beyblades. We had Acid Anubis. Anubis is the best defense type. Nā Marino

Inanahi i  haere ahau ki te whare hakinakina. He pai ki ahau Te Waka Unua, our manuhiri . I te ahiahi it was ra rekareka. I did matariki art. It was amazing, me te harikoa.

Inanahi i tae mai nga manuhiri o Te Waka Unua. He tino koi rātau kapahaka. He tino pai nga tamariki manuhiri. Kāore he pai ki ahau ētahi o ngā manuhiri. He tino tonotono ētahi tamariki i te futuporo, nā reira he tino tino ketekete ahau. I te mutinga o te fotu potoro, i haere rātou ki te kohanga reo maori. I te mutunga o te waka unua o te kapahaka,i haere rātou ki te whare kaumatua. Yesterday some visitors arrived from Te Waka Unua school. At the end of the day they went to a kohanga and an old people’s home.

ASB Manuhiri

Today we had Amy from ASB come and talk to us about pūtea (money) and being 'Cashletes'. We talked about saving money, being safe with money, and shopping around.

ANZAC Manuhiri

We had a visitor talk to us about the war. His name was Paul. He talked about soldiers and animals that went to war for our freedom. It was interesting and a little bit pouri (sad).
