Kia ora My name is Shaun. Every day we do Tuhi Rātaka for about 10 minutes. This is diary writing where we can write about whatever we like.
Here is a story I wrote about a boy who goes on a big walk to a candy house.
It is not a happy story.
Click on the link below to read and watch.
I hope you like it and please leave feedback.
Whaea Rovena is having a few problems uploading this pukapuka. Mō taku hē! :-(
We do a little bit of Tuhi Rātaka in my class. Tuhi Rātaka is diary writing - we do this for 10-15 minutes every day. I chose to write a story about a boy and a wolf. I used BookCreator to put my story on the Blog. Please don't forget to leave feedback.

For Te Wiki o te Reo Māori we made special te Ao Māori taonga each day of the week.
On Rāhina we made a pukapuka.
On Rātu we made tāhei (necklaces).
On Rāapa we made putiputi and ika from harakeke.
On Rāpare we made magic paper to draw pikitia Māori.
On Rāmere we made manu tukutuku (kites).
Here are some pikitia of us learning what manu tukutuku are and planning and creating our manu tukutuku.
Here we are with all of our taonga!
We had some much fun for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori!
